To make it a little easier for you to plan your outings, following are some of the latest and greatest things to do in Uptown Charlotte.
Let Loose at a Concert

Just a few of the concerts coming to Charlotte include The Eagles on April 11, Bon Jovi on April 21, Sam Smith on July 6, Alan Jackson on September 15, and Maroon 5 on October 4. And if you really want to get a head start on your planning, Justin Timberlake will be at the Spectrum Center on January 8, 2019.
Eat at One of the Newest Restaurants
With new restaurants always popping up in the Uptown Charlotte area, you never have to get bored with where you go out to eat. One of the latest restaurants is Nest Restaurant & Lounge. This comfortable establishment specializes in New American cuisine, with dishes like shrimp and grits, crab stuffed salmon, and fried chicken. Brunch is also served on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00am-3:00pm. Another new option in the Queen City is Loft & Cellar. This three-level establishment offers dishes that are inspired by the chef’s travels. Just a few of the items on the eclectic menu include southern pad thai, sweet crab spaetzli, chicken kiev, and mushroom sugo. One more place you will want to add to your list is The Suffolk Punch at Hyde Brewing. This establishment offers a coffee bar, tap house, and culinary spot all in one place.
Check Out the Local Museums
While the museums themselves are not necessarily new to Uptown Charlotte, they are always hosting new exhibits and events. Just a few of the most popular museums in the area include Levine Museum of the New South, Mint Museum Uptown, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, and McColl Center for Art + Innovation. Check out the website for each museum to see what they have going on and what they will be bringing to Charlotte this year.
