February 15, 2010One of the most desirable locations in Charlotte real estate, Eastover has been a beloved area for decades. With streets lined with trees and flowers, this charming neighborhood is ideal for new families. Eastover, located directly next to Myers Park has a superb school system and lots to do.
Streets such as Museum Drive & Colville Road showcase the style and sophistication of Eastover. It would be very difficult to find any two homes that are the same in this neighborhood. Several of these homes were built in early 20th century, but have been completely restored and renovated to their original, beautiful splendor.
Most recently, Charlotte area developers have been using infill lots to build luxury condos in Eastover. At first their was resistance to these condo’s from existing Eastover residents, but they were eventually pleased to find large condo’s with the same style of the original homes.
Eastover has several homes that are unique, classic, and hold their value. Eastover is a short 10 minutes from Charlotte’s center city, and has several great bars and restaurants. The price of these homes range, as single family condo’s start at $400,000. However, some of the larger homes can be valued as high as $4 million.
Shelly Henderson
Shelly calls herself a “Charlottean” because her family has been there since her elementary school days. She serves as Henderson Properties’ co-founder, along with her husband Phil, managing the day-to-day operations, social media branding and leadership development. Her different life experiences, both positive and challenging, earned the title to her first book Starting From Scratch. Shelly has a servant’s heart and leads her company with purpose and passion. She is mom to two sons who continue as young adults to make her heart swell.
