How Can We Help You?
SouthPark is one of the most popular areas in Charlotte. It has the best shopping, some of the greatest restaurants and fabulous homes that we can all daydream about living in one day. Another great thing about SouthPark is that there are always new things popping up in the area. Lucky for you, we are here to let you know about some of the new sights and attractions that have recently arrived or will be coming soon.
Get your kids together because the LEGO store will be opening at SouthPark Mall this summer. The store will include a “Pick a Brick Wall,” which allows customers to buy LEGO pieces in various shapes and sizes in bulk. Pick and choose whatever you want!
Coming to one of SouthPark Mall’s stand-alone buildings later this year is Reid’s Fine Foods. This specialty food store specializes in providing local southern foods, gift baskets, meats, wine and cooking classes. The store is expected to open by October 1.
The Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern is scheduled to open in September in Sharon Square. The restaurant serves American fare, from deep-fried pickles to backyard BBQ ribs. It will even feature a fire pit for outdoor seating, making this a fun option for your dinner dates in SouthPark.
Business owners will be happy to hear that two new office towers will be popping up in the area. The Lincoln Harris real estate firm has already started construction on two office towers behind the Piedmont Town Center. Each building will be 240,000 square feet and 10-stories tall. Plenty of room for new businesses to come into the area!
Two mixed-use developments may also be coming to SouthPark. Around Sharon United Methodist Church, developers have proposed a project that would include residential, office and retail space. At the Colony Apartments, developers want to replace the existing apartments with a grocery store, a 300-room hotel and 1,100 homes.
Lastly, two new apartment complexes are being built. This will allow SouthPark to accommodate hundreds of new residents. The more, the merrier!
SouthPark was already a fabulous part of Charlotte to live in and check out, and it is only getting better.
