How Can We Help You?
There is no denying the fact that the Charlotte area has been in some serious growth lately. All you have to do is walk through Uptown Charlotte or drive through the area to notice more people and traffic. And the numbers do not lie either. As we mentioned in one of our previous blog posts, the Census numbers show that the population in Charlotte grew by nearly 16% from 2008 to 2013, while the nation’s population increase remained around 4%.
Now you may be wondering, why does Charlotte continue to grow so quickly?
For those of us who have lived here for a little bit of time, the answer seems pretty obvious. Charlotte has a lot to offer, and new things are constantly coming to the area. Additionally, it is nice to enjoy both the city and country life in one fantastic place. You can spend the afternoon out on the lake or hiking through the mountains, and then you can enjoy dinner and a theater performance that evening.
In the business sphere, Charlotte is well known for being a major hub for both the motorsports and financial industries. With the majority of NASCAR teams being based in the surrounding area and Uptown Charlotte housing major financial institutions, like Bank of America, it is no surprise that job seekers in these industries view Charlotte as the place to be.
Additionally, new companies are discovering the attractiveness of our southern city and making the move. The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce recently announced that RingCentral, Inc. will be opening an East Coast Sales office in Uptown Charlotte, and Cognizant is bringing an information technology delivery and operations center to the area. Also, Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has plans to open a manufacturing facility in Huntersville, just a few miles outside of Charlotte.
Aside from the growing job market, Charlotte also draws people in because of its wide range of housing options. Want to live in a city sky rise? We have you covered with complexes like The Vue and Catalyst. Want to live in a more traditional home in the suburbs? Head on over to Dilworth or Myers Park.
Charlotte offers southern charm and city appeal, so its growing popularity is no surprise to us! If you are in the Charlotte area and are looking for a new home, then contact one of our real estate specialists today!
