Rental Technology Update on Portal

As life has increasingly become more technologically advanced, customer demand to access information any time of day has grown significantly. Now that nearly everyone has a smartphone, tablet, etc. that can be used to access information at any time or place, we at Henderson Properties sensed the need to upgrade our technology to better serve our customers. In response, we recently upgraded our property management software to some of the latest and greatest technology available today, Rent Manager (www.rentmanager.com). In the coming months we will soon be able to provide our owners and residents with access to their account information through portals that are available on any device that has an internet connection. We will also be able to send important information to our customers through these portals. Customers will no longer have to call or e-mail or wait for the postal service to deliver important information. Information will be available through a secure logon anytime once it’s posted to the account. Of course, we will still welcome phone calls and emails as part of our customer service program.

The new technology will help our staff to be more efficient in our processes and procedures by providing mobile capabilities and improving response times. Time is money, and that translates to savings for our customers! The other advantage to being more mobile and having the ability to communicate more effectively electronically is that we can go green and reduce paper and postage costs. This helps us keep customer fees affordable. Our staff can also communicate with customers from anywhere electronically. The software automation will allow our employees to better focus their time on getting things done quicker and more accurately than before the upgrade.
