Charlotte, North Carolina is a beautiful city with warm summer climates. This makes it ideal for summer camps, of which Charlotte has a wide variety.
Camp Invention is a camp run by Ballantyne Elementary School in Charlotte. It is geared toward children in kindergarten through fifth grade and encourages creativity and problem solving.
The Charlotte U.S. National Whitewater Center summer camp is a camp for outdoor adventuring. They have several camp packages that include overnight survival camps and day camps for water activities, such as kayaking.
Mad Science summer camps offer an array of learning packages for kids from 4 to 12. They have geology, chemistry, robotics and even rockets.
