Camp Invention is a camp run by Ballantyne Elementary School in Charlotte. It is geared toward children in kindergarten through fifth grade and encourages creativity and problem solving.

The Charlotte U.S. National Whitewater Center summer camp is a camp for outdoor adventuring. They have several camp packages that include overnight survival camps and day camps for water activities, such as kayaking.
